A Couple of Things

You might get a cab in Orchard Road at the best of times. It would be harder to get one at the worst of times, when the world’s grinding to a halt, with fire and brimstone raining from the sky and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse out a-riding. So it makes perfect sense that flagging a taxi in Orchard Road, at half past 10 on a Sunday night is a similarly apocalyptic struggle. Perfect sense.

I’ve been playing a lot of soccer recently. I lost interest in the Game late 2007, maybe due to a lack of fitness or just because I had apparently more important things to take care of then. Now that I’m infinitely more free, and infinitely fitter, I’ve grown attached once more to the Game, looking at how I can improve my technique, positioning and play-making now that I can run the length of a pitch for at least a half without dying.

In other news, Street Fighter 4 looks and feels amazing. Seems really worth getting into. Also, I’m officially in love with Neil Gaiman, no homo. It’s the first time I’ve felt something like this. I utter a knowing ‘ahhhh’ mixed with loud gurgling noises at every single line he writes, something I’ve never done for any other writer before, or any human being for that matter. I’d love to write like Gaiman, some day. I’d love it even better if he’d go ‘ahhhhhh’ at stuff I wrote. Also as well and, I’m starting to get hooked on X Japan. It all started on Youtube, as does everything, when I typed, due to boredom and randomness, “X”.  They’re really good. The Japanese accented English is fine too. “draaihhh youur tearrhs, weeve laahhve”. Yup.

Lastly, I’m starting work tommorow as DyS4, HQ Personnel Support Command. Who Knows What the Future Might Bring?!
