In Bloom

“…filled with a chemical and a glass vial that when activated, produces a glowing, glowing light.”

I don’t mean to break radio silence prematurely, but sometimes you just can’t keep it all in, ya know? Anyway Wednesday’s my Normandy, my Armageddon, my last hurrah.  People have upped and left, plenty of things have happened, to the point where it all becomes a blur and you’re left wondering if change did occur, or more soberingly, if change matters at all.

There’s nothing much to be get inebriated about these days. You don’t get excited ’bout the things you don’t know I guess. For one, I didn’t know that a Carl’s Jr opened at Far East Plaza till Darren pointed it out to me, wide-eyed and wildly gesticulating. I also had no clue that Hull City was in the EPL, oh wait BPL, and neither did I know that Arsenal bought Silvestre. Whatever for, dude?

While we’re on the topic, I didn’t know that so many girls left. Or rather, I knew that they left but I never had the chance to say ‘hey all the best wherever you’re going, take care and i’ll see you soon’. And when you don’t do that for one girl, friend, accquaintance etc, you really don’t have the desire/motivation/courtesy?? to do it for the next, the next and the one after that.

And iTunes is pissing the shizzle outta me right now, because of the vast expanse of MLTR songs that I’ve uploaded, That’s Why You Go Away’s audio format is not supported by my iPod. What the hell, Steve.

My point is, I feel that I’m leading an incredibly inconsequential life. Or rather, the things in my life are essentially inconsequential, mere fixtures like a table lamp, or a sofa that i’ll get rid off or leave in a dusty attic once they turn into white elephants.

I don’t believe it’s true though. Not for one bit. This world cannot be made of grey skylines and “hey how’ve you been long time no see we should catch up soon but i doubt we actually will coz you and i both know we’re saying this because it’s Something Right to Say.” This world needs some sincerity. And true love.

I kid you not. “That’s Why You Go Away  was copied successfully to Kenneth’s iPod.” Steve!
